Before I tell you about how I work, I want to introduce myself and show you a few images from my personal collection that are special to me. Can you see the remote trigger in my hands? I insist on taking our own family photos every fall and spring, and thankfully, my husband and two sons (Ben and Oliver) oblige me!
I’ve heard so many moms say, “I am never in any of the photos I take of my family”. I am that mom too, and I am also the photographer that realizes the huge importance of capturing these young years.
I dont think the importance of family imagery can be understated. I barely remember these first few days of being a mom, and I’m so grateful to have these images, captured in time, forever.
“Confident, relaxed, easy-going, and friendly,” are a few of the words my clients use to describe me in testimonials again and again.
I live in Colorado with my little family of four, and our German Shepard, Stark. We love exploring new mountain towns, hiking, biking, camping, and generally taking full advantage of all the Great American West has to offer.
Our Photoshoot – Let’s Make It Fun!
Photography sessions do not have to be overwhelming! What if we went out to a beautiful Colorado location and just… PLAYED! I am are here to guide you though a fantastically unique and easy photoshoot experience. It will feel more like going on a family playdate together than anything.
Photo-Journalistic Style
I shoot in a photo documentary style which means I capture it as I see it.
I love REAL emotions, un-staged settings, and genuine interaction in my subjects. I bring lots of ideas to a session, but mostly, I love it when you are just, simply, YOU!
My Background
I have been a photographer since 2002, with my experience starting on actual film cameras, straight out of college! My work has taken me all over the globe, working for NBC and CBS News at The White House with GW Bush and Obama. I then moved to England and worked all throughout Europe and Africa covering political engagements for NATO and US Africa Command.
I photograph portraits because it’s fun, exciting, and creative, with endless possibilities of meeting fascinating and interesting new people, their friends, and their families.
I have photographed weddings and portrait work on the French Riviera, London, Amsterdam, Switzerland, and all around the US in NYC, Vermont, Colorado, and up and down the East and West Coast. Know that when we work together, you will be receiving an absolutely stellar product with a seasoned pro guiding you through your session.

Photo Session Day
Let’s take our time and enjoy our session. We can go as quickly or as slowly as necessary! I work around your schedule.
We are going to play, we might get a little dirty, and I want you to just enjoy yourself spending family time together. My ultimate goal is for you to find yourself pleasantly surprised over how much fun a photography session can be!
Securing Your Date
A $500 deposit secures your booking and also unlocks my essentials collection with a handful of digital files and a large format print.
Should you decide you want more, you will decide after seeing all the edited images from your shoot.
The Session Reveal
After editing through all of my favorite images from our shoot (anywhere from 50 – 100) I love to bring them to my clients’ homes for a session reveal.
I will walk you through the selection process and have samples of canvases, prints, and other fine art products for your walls and we’ll decide on the best place to make a wall art gallery.
Your session deposit of $500 includes my “essentials” collection. This gets you one large format print and a handful of digital files. If you wish to upgrade to a more robust collection, you will decide after you’ve seen all your finished images at your session premiere.
Most clients invest $1500 in a custom photography session, but you are not limited to a collection or set dollar amount.
Prints start at $50, and canvases start at $100. Digital files with print release start at $100. You can build any collection you like based on your wants and needs.
You will receive the VIP treatment from the beginning, in dreaming up your unique photo experience, to the very end, in hanging the finished pieces. I want to see you enjoy every bit of your investment.
