How absolutely PRECIOUS is this little girl!? We did the shoot when baby Jules was nine weeks old, just beginning to smile and laugh, and it was just HEAVEN! I just loved worked with the Hallums… they are the best kind of people: laid back, super cool, and open for any ideas I had! The images are just stunning. I woke up every morning during the two weeks I worked on these edits, just so excited at what else I would find. I literally just cannot believe how beautiful this baby is! Lance and Kristi.. you are in so much trouble in another 16 years! She is GORGEOUS!

Lifestyle photography sessions with babies – newborns, or otherwise – are quickly becoming my favorite subject to photograph. I just love their tiny hands, their sweet lashes, and their baby noises. They only stay that small for a matter of weeks.. and I was just beyond honored to capture Jules’s first photographs!

What an AWESOME family these guys are! They were in town from Boston visiting friends and called me up for a session after seeing images of their friends on website. How grateful I am for little gems like the Lukowskis to land in my lap. These were just the most gracious, kind, sweet, and fun family to photograph and to work with. We spent a summer afternoon hanging out at Bear Creek Nature park in Colorado Springs, and they LOVED it. Their adorable sons stomped around, picked flowers for mommy, and just generally had a blast. All I had to do was aim the lens and snap away. Families like these are just wonderful and make me love my job even more! Here are a few favorites from our lifestyle session:

I am so excited to announce that I will now be doing in-hospital fresh 48 sessions! These are very special, intimate sessions that take place in your hospital room, in the first 24 – 48 hours of your baby’s life. These lifestyle sessions are perfect for capturing you all snuggling, getting to know each other, and those first few hours of quiet magic in your new baby’s life. I also love to capture your little one’s first yawns, detail shots of their sweet baby fingers and toes, and the love and interaction between you all in baby’s first day of life.

This was my second fresh 48 session, this time with the Leonardo family. I LOVED capturing little Florian’s first portraits.. he was such a chill, sweet little guy, just taking in the world around him. He looked right at me and into my camera, as if to say, “hello world. I am ready for you!”… I also had the honor of capturing older brother Emmerich and big sister Adelaide’s first meeting with their new baby brother! It was just precious, and I felt so lucky to witness all the love in the room with this family’s newest member. Here are a few of my favorite shots! I cant wait for more of these sessions. I just loved capturing this magic!
