I was SO thrilled when high school senior Jill called me and asked to shoot around Colorado Springs for her senior portraits. Right now, the Springs has some beautiful green grass and some gorgeous wildflowers! May and June have to be my new favorite time to shoot, hands down, in my new city. It’s just so vibrant after all this rain – who knew this arid high desert could be so alive, so green, and so spring-like! Jill’s senior photo session was wonderful. This girl truly has it all together – she is so mature and such a lovely woman. She already knows where she’s going to college and what she’s going to study – and she hasnt even started her senior year yet! We had such a blast shooting around different locations throughout Colorado Springs, and the photographs turned out SO great! She let me photograph her wherever I wanted, which was awesome. Ohhh my goodness. There has been so much rain here lately and the green is POPPING! I spent a Saturday morning recently with the Leonardos who are expecting their third, and we had SO much fun! We were stomping in the river, climbing on trees, and just having a blast. These two kids are wonderful! And their family is just the best – they had such great energy for our photoshoot.. and isnt Natascha just BEAUTIFUL folks?!! Ah. I just love them! Here are a few of my favorites: 

WOAH! Holy cow, I had so much fun with these seniors. There was a whole group of them – throngs of them! They were all friends of my subject, Devon… they all came out to see how a photoshoot works and to hang out with their friend Devon during her shoot. And OMG… it was informal, off-the-cuff, FULL of energy and really, really awesome. We had so. much. FUN! Check out some of my favorites:

How beautiful are little Bellasanaa and Viktoria? Mama is originally from Hungary and she models on the side! How lucky was I to photograph them in this beautiful little field of blooming wild flowers? I love love love mother’s day photoshoots.. there is something so special about a bond between mama and daughter. These two are just gorgeous, dont you think?

Happy, happy birthday sweet little man! It has been such a gift to watch you grow from your very first days of life with your mama and daddy to the BIG BOY you have now become! Little Everett turns one tomorrow, and he could not be any cuter and more wonderful. I just love this little guy. We just had Everett’s first birthday shoot and it was so much fun.
